Instructions For Application:

Black Out can be easily applied with a fairly stiff paint brush. A used fireplace should be prepared in advance by removing accumulated soot and dirt with a wire brush or pumice block, and then swept or vacuumed. A new fireplace should be swept and dusted.  DO NOT thin Black Out by adding water or other material.  Shake well before using. Cover hearth, carpeting or other deck surfaces to avoid dripping. Apply generously, rubbing well into grouting and daubing at rough places. Black Out is self leveling, dries in moments to a dark velvety finish. Hands and brush may be washed in warm water. One good application should last a full season.
